Who is SMART?

The SMART coalition was formed in 2007 in response to a study for a road proposed to end in rural Puslinch. It is a group of ordinary citizens and has been successful in engaging local municipalities, politicians and the GRCA in a constructive dialogue.

The Issue

A new study was announced last year after an earlier flawed study was withdrawn. This new study continues to flout provincial policy. It is, in short, ILLEGAL. Tax dollars are being wasted by civil servants and the Ontario Liberals are again being embarrassed by a maverick ministry.
